Who we are

Lickbox (lickbox.app) is operated by OpenAndes. For anything about your data, write to support@lickbox.app.

What we collect

Account: when you sign in with Google we receive your email address and name, and keep them in your profile with your plan and join date.

Rolls: the item you got, its level/genre/focus/mood tags, whether Jev or a random pick chose it, and the time. This powers My rolls and avoids repeats.

Daily counter: how many rolls you used today, for the daily limit.

Your answers: the text you type is sent to our AI provider to make the pick. We do not store it or log it.

Technical logs: errors and timings, without your answers or sign-in tokens.

We do not ask for sensitive information (such as health, religion, politics or biometrics). Please do not include it in your answers.

We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell your data.

Who processes it

Amazon Web Services: hosting, database and sign-in (Amazon Cognito). Google: sign-in and web fonts. OpenRouter: runs the Jev model on your answers, under its own privacy policy.

Spotify and YouTube: song players and lick videos load from them (YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, only when you press Watch), under their own privacy policies. Songsterr: opened in a new tab only when you press its button.

Your data is processed in the United States.

Storage in your browser

We keep your sign-in tokens and language choice in your browser. They are needed for the app to work; signing out removes the tokens.

How long we keep it

Profile and roll history: until you delete your account. Daily counter: 48 hours. Server logs: 30 days. Support emails: only as long as needed to handle your request.

Your choices

Delete your account at any time from My rolls → Delete account. This immediately removes your profile, roll history, daily counter and Lickbox sign-in. Your Google account is not affected.

To access or correct your data, or for any other privacy request, email support@lickbox.app. We will answer under the law that applies to you.

Children

Lickbox is not intended for children under 13. If we learn we hold data from a child under 13, we delete it.

Changes

When this policy changes we update the date above; important changes will be announced in the app.
